  Update! The bike course for our race is ready to go. Many people have asked about resurfacing and potential loose gravel on the course. Road resurfacing has already been completed by Johnson County and anything left over before the race will be swept off. The course will be clean and safe, with two patches near the spillway area that will be covered by carpet.

  The summer Olympics start today! Be sure to watch the USA Triathlon team on NBC Sunday August 17th 9pm-11pm (Women) and Tuesday August 19th 11am-4pm (Men).

  If you are interested in volunteering for this race, please sign up at our Volunteer Registration website. We need over one hundred people on race weekend in order to put on a race of this size, so please consider lending a hand and helping out your local triathlon club and community!

  With all of the recent flooding, we have understandably received a lot of questions about the race recently. We would like to assure everyone that the race will still go on as planned. We hope to see as many of you there as possible!

  Reminder: The price of the race goes up this weekend (July 26th) to $65 for an individual and $100 for teams.

Flood Relief

August 20, 2008

Because of the tragic flooding that occurred in the area earlier this summer, we are going to be donating a portion of our proceeds to the Johnson County United Way. We will also setup a location for collecting donations at the race site if you would like to contribute additional funds. Look for their booth on race day!
