The TriHawks Triathlon will offer an Elite Age Group Competition Division. Athletes competing in this unique sprint Distance Division will be seeded into the first wave of the race, where they will compete head-to-head with other top USA Triathlon ranked athletes for awards (three deep, men & women). An athlete competing in this division, will not be included in the 2006 USAT age group rankings if they do not place in the top three overall finishers. The reasoning behind this is because you have an unfair advantage over your fellow age-groupers in that you will race a cleaner course without having to weave through as much traffic as the waves that begin behind you.

Note: Any athlete that desires to, may participate under the Elite Division in our race. We are not providing a cash purse to the overall winners. Elites will not be competing for age group awards, but will be competing for only the top three overall finishers.
